This Carroll Motor Fuels station at one time was a Texaco station. In the late 1980s, a truck crashed into the pumps and there was a massive explosion. By the mid 1990s, the station was closed. Then in the late 1990s, a new Amico station opened, with canopied pumps and a convenience store. On September 11th, 2001, the station owners raised the price of gas $1 a gallon as the World Trade Center in NYC was crashing to the ground. As BP converted Amico locations around the US, this station was also converted to the BP brand.
