Ramakrishna 70 mm, the first deluxe theatre in Hyderabad, was built by the late N.T.Rama Rao the famous actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. To date it remains a landmark, one of the most popular theatres in the cluster of theatres in Abids and other multiplexes that have come up all over Hyderabad. Over the years Ramakrishna complex has upgraded its facilities and has remained contemporary and modern. With a large space, plush seating with about xx capacity, interiors with overhanging sculptures and tall paintings, patterned ceilings, Ramakrishna is more than worth your money. The theatre also offers an online ticket booking facility for your convenience.

  • The inauguration of Ramakrishna 70 mm in 1972 (46 years ago) was with its first movie "The Sound of Music" that I saw. It was a fantastic experience to see a beautiful movie in the first Super Deluxe Theatre of that time.
