T.G.I. Friday’s™ opened for business for the first time in India on the 5th of November 1996, pioneering the beginning of the casual dining segment as never before seen in Delhi. Expansion plans are to have at least twenty outlets across the subcontinent.

The concept of Thank Goodness its Friday’s®, America’s first casual dining chain was first opened in Manhattan at First Avenue and 63rd street and featured the same red and white striped awnings and the signature name that was to best describe a feeling for generations to come.

That was 1965, by 1975 there were 10 Friday’s®, today there are over 826 Friday’s® concepts in over 50 cities all over the world, serving approximately 25,000 guests everyday.
