Forty-acre Minnesota DAR Memorial State Forest in Pine County in the quad known as Askov Lookout Tower. This site was reseeded with penny pine saplings with efforts of the Minnesota chapter of the D.A.R in 1941. The forest was dedicated in 1941. The site features camping facilities.
