This is the main entrance to the Meiji Jingu Shrine. It is also famous for young teenagers dressing in a gothic style. Most teens are friendly and will let you take a picture with them. Some also perform music shows. Weekends are the best times to see the most teens.

  • They're there mostly on Sunday.
  • This is the main entrance to Meiji Shrine. During the late 50's when I lived next door at Washington Heights we would see beggers here. Most were old soldiers who had been disabled and had to beg for their subsistance.
