One of the largest pickle factories in the world, all Heinz pickles come from this plant. It also produces Heinz vinegar, mustard, and other sauces here. Depending on which way the wind is blowing, much of Holland can smell vinegar and pickles. During World War II, Nazi POWs located in a nearby POW camp were forced to work at the Heinz pickle plant. The plant opened in 1897 originally, making it the oldest of the Kraft Heinz facilities.
