It is very sad to know that the Sankighatta tank is 80% illegally encroached by many greedy people for farming. which has reduced the capacity of the tank.
Local government officers or the people representative of the area has to take proper action to save the tank and work towards bring Hemavathi channel water to Sankighatta kere.
