  • We visited this fort on 29 july 2012. From base village, Pimpalwadi, a jeepable road is available for about 1-1.5 km. Then take a path onto right to climb the khind between a ridge descending from fort and small hill adjacent to pimpalwadi vilage(this hill obstructs the view of fort from village). From this point there is straight climb on the ridge. Cross the 2 rocks and turn left. When you are near the fort, 2 bastions are visible. A steep ascent leads to fallen gate between them. Turn left for kangori mandir and right for balekilla. Mandir is not in a good condition i. e. not a shelter for night stay. Height from base 460 meters and about 1.5 hrs to reach the top.
