Winschoten (Gronings: Winschoot) is a city in the northeastern part of the Netherlands.
Winschoten is the administrative centre of the municipality of Oldambt, consisting of three former (till January 1th, 2010) municipalities: Scheemda, Reiderland and Winschoten itself.
