Hillside Apartments (Medford, Massachusetts)

The Hillside Apartments are apartment-style dorms at Tufts University. Hillsides is composed of three buildings- Hillsides A, Hillsides B, and Hallowell Hall. A and B operate more or less as one unit. Hillsides can house 216 students in total. Apartments may be single-sex or co-ed. Apartments hold either 6 or 10 people and students may either pick an entire apartment with a group or pick just one room in an apartment. Hillsides in located near Boston Ave, close to the eateries on Boston Ave. and fairly close to the academic quad. Hillsides is very far from Davis Square. Hillsides has no RA's or an RD and there are no rounds to speak of, though TUPD do keep a fairly close eye on the goings on that occur in hillsides. The only communal facilities are a mailroom and laundry room shared between the buildings. Hallowell Hall, the largest of the three buildings that comprise Hillsides, has its own mailroom and laundry room.
As mentioned, there are two types of apartments in Hillsides, a ten-person and a six-person.
