sculpture, inukshuk
Inuit Inukshuk sculpture at the south-west end of English Bay Beach. One of those "I got to photograph that thing" locations in Vancouver. Right beside English Bay Beach, which is a long, narrow beach excellent for reading, sunbathing, and viewing excellent sunsets. Public transport and many shops and restaurants nearby on Denman and Davie. Great hangout spot during summertime.
The sculpture was originally a part of the Northwest Territories Pavilion during Expo 86' (World's Fair) and moved to this location in 1987.
