The building (german: Haus der Europäischen Union) houses the mission of the EU-Commission in Austria and the Information Office of the European Parliament.

The team around the architects Silja Tillner, Alfred Willinger and Gerhard Steffel designed the building, which also offers three meeting rooms. It was opened on Oct. 16th, 2009 - in presence of Jose Manuel Durao Barroso (President of the EU-Commission) the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, Federal President Heinz Fischer, Vice-Chancellor Josef Pröll (ÖVP) and the Viennse Mayor Michael Häupl (SPÖ).

Opening hours: Mo - Fr, 9 am till 5 pm
