Opened in 1943 Pleasington cemetery is an oasis of green situated just off Tower Road. There is a woodland section at Pleasington cemetery for those who would prefer a natural burial. Coffins must be environmentally friendly and the body must not be embalmed. Graves are arranged in circles of six, with a tree as the centrepiece. Memorials are not permitted on this section
