Tarfaya (طرفاية) is a little port town (5615p, in2004) and capital of the Tarfaya province. At the mainstreet, there are a good cafe and some grill to eat fish.
During the Spanish colonization 1916 - 1958 it was named Villa Bens. At the beach there is a monument to the French aviator, author and chef of this airport from 1927 to 1928, Antoine de Saint Exupéry.
