This history of Nitoda is believed to belong to a period earlier than the twelfth century. On the seat of the parikar of God’s idol, there is an inscription of Bhagawan Neminath. Due to some inevitable reasons the idol of Bhagawan Neminath was removed and the idol of Bhagawan Chintamani Parshwanatha was installed. There is also an idol of Yaksha Babeshwarji. On it, an inscription belonging to the year 1491 of the Vikram era can be found. This place belongs to the Chota Marwar group of five pilgrim centres.

बद्री केदारनाथ मंदिर बहोत ही सुन्दर और प्रसिद्द मंदिर है यहाँ पर अमर राजा भरतरी ७ दिन तक तपस्या करके गए थे , यहाँ पर जो वाव है यहाँ पर गंगाजी का वास है, पूरी दुनियां के तीर्थ कर दिए पर यहाँ पर दर्शन नहीं किये तो तीर्थ का कोई मूल्य नहीं ! केदारनाथ एवं बद्रीनाथ का एक साथ मंदिर भारत का यह एक मात्र मंदिर है ! मंदिर के थोड़ी दुरी पर ही सरजा वाव् है जहा पर अभी तक गंगाजी का वास है, यहाँ पर मोती महाराज रोज़ सुबह गंगाजी की पूजा करने आते है उन्होंने यहाँ पर अपनी धुनि भी बनाई है और थोड़ी दुरी पर ही ईशान भेरुजी का चमत्कारी मंदिर है !
