Master Kulwant Rai Prashar had served the villages
by teaching at Govt.Pry.School Mohan Pura quite a long time. People still remember their services(Mr.& Mrs.Kulwant Rai).
They use to visit their village alongwith cousins Manohar Lal and family.
The people of this small village have spread in various states of India and foreign countries. They are very liberal in rendering services to the humanity at large.
They are proud of the village which is nearer to the Ancestral places of the First Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji (Gurdwara Dehra Sahib), Gurdwara of 5th Guru Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji at Chohla Sahib, 6th Guru's at Sarhali, 2nd Guru's Khadur Sahib, 3rd Guru's Sri Goindwal Sahib (Centre of Sikhism) and other religious and historical places. The area has produced freedom fighters like Shahid Sukhdev cousin of the Vice President of India Krishan Kant (hailing from Kot Mohd.Khan)only 3 kilometers, Jathedar Mohan Singh Tur of Tur village 4 kms, Partap Singh Kairon, ex-CM 's constituency Sarhali Kalan, Sarhali Kalan 5 kms way from the village; S.Gurdit Singh of Kamagatamaru Ship belonged to Sarhali Kalan. Manohar Singh Gill, First Sikh Chief Election Commissioner of India hails from the nearby village Aladin Pur. Historically and politically the first Muslim Chief Minister of the joint Punjab,in 1936 onwards, Sir Mirza Sikander Hayat Khan, was also from a village near Khaduur Sahib, besides the Prime Minister of now Pakistan (Mr.Shah Nawab Shrief) also belonged to Jati Umar about 6/7 kilometers from the village (Bhathal Sehja Singh). May my village stand high as a towerlight due to its services to the humanity and the Country.
