The park includes the site of the Yuzuki Castle (Kono clan residence, destroyed by an attack of Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1585) ruins - the view from the site is superb; two medieval samurai houses have been reconstructed in the park, basing on the excavations and using the construction materials and methods of the corresponding period. Inside, a group of mannequins reproduct a rengo (linked verse) game scene, and the second house contains an exhibition of different excavation findings
