Named after J.R.D. Tata, Founder of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. JRD Tatanagar is a housing society layout with 556 sites formed by the employees of Indian Institute of Science. It is adjacent to Hebbal flyover (4 Kms), Big Bazaar (1 Kms) and is located along the Hebbal - Tumkur Outer ring road. It is about 1 km from the outer ringroad connecting Bhadrappa Layout and Kodigehalli. The nearest Railway station is Kodigehalli which is half km from the layout. JRD Tatanagar is 6.5 kms from IISc Main Campus.

  • unpaved roads, bad management, stray dogs, open drainage creating pungent and unbearable smell. dusty, dirty, 3rd rated area. Thanks to the contractor.
  • A beautiful layout with a lovely park.Educated gentry , quite, calm, serene surroundings with lots of greenery! away from the humdrum of traffic!!!
  • i request to the head of tatanagar to open fancy stores mainly, stationaries,vegetable markt etc. please maintain the open drainage closed , there r so many stray dogs which r causing harm to some children,opn some small libraries to the kids
  • close the open drains and keep the park water body neat and clean otherwise mosquito will just kill you guys.............Rajesh
