This is a pristine village located at the Nandi foothills. It is within 3km of the Kanivenarayanapura-Muddenahalli region. There is significant infrastructure development due to Sri Sathya Sai Baba's efforts. Village adjacent to Sir M Vishweshwarya's Birth Place. Site of a prestigious new Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Sri Vishveshwarya University, and Sathya Sai Baba University and Medical School. Located in close proximity to the upcoming Sports park, as well as a large Silk Special Economic Zone, 'Silk City' set to create many jobs in the area. Located within the IT Investment region over 10,000 sprawling acres.

The village is inhabited by 200 members in 40 houses. Gantiganahalli is situated to the West of Sathya Sai Grama at a distance of 1.5 Kilometres. This village is also very much similar to Suddahalli with respect to health and hygiene conditions. There is no proper approach road to this village. A 'Rustic Road' prevails attached to Mylappanahalli-Bandhalli Road. There is an Anganwadi (Kindergarten) school and a Lower Primary School in this village. However there is no play field for the children in this village. This village has shown good progress in the field of rearing cows and milk production. Till the year 2008, more than fifteen students have gone for jobs in both private and public services after completing their education at Sathya Sai Grama. Two ex-students have achieved considerable academic excellence and are serving as a lecturer and Accounts Officer.

Ten Toilets have been constructed by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Dal, Malleshwaram Center, Bangalore with direct supervision of staff from Sathya Sai Grama to improve the sanitary conditions in the village spending an amount of Rupees 60,000/- in the year 2008. There is future plan to provide a toilet for every house of the village which would cost another Rupees 2.5 Lakhs as per the estimate given in November 2008.
Activities
GANESHA TEMPLE

The Villagers requested the COSS to provide a temple which would also serve the purpose of a Community Hall. COSS has responded and has constructed an exquisite Ganesha temple spending an amount of Rupees 5.5 Lakhs in the year 2007.
PLAY AREA

Though there is no play field a rattling and swing have been installed under a Peepul Tree spending an amount of Rupees 18,000/- for the benefit of Anganwadi and Primary School Children in the year 2007.
