Nummi Church

The church was completed in 1822 and represents modern classicist style. It was designed by A. N. Edelcranz in Stockholm 1807. The altarpieces have been painted by J. A. Jägerplan 1825, also in Stockholm. The old organ acquired in 1864 was made in Gustav Normann`s Organ Factory in Tallin. The oldest object in the church is a mediaval Crusifix about the Saviour made in the early part of the 16 th century in Central Europe and brought to Nummi as a plunder from the War of 30 years in the 1640`s.
