Kavala caves is a marvel of the nature located in the heart of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. In the midst of Western Ghats, located at a distance of 25 km from Dandeli (Uttar Kanara district of Karnataka), is the naturally formed Shiva Linga. It is formed from stalagmites (deposits of Limestone).
