Orchard MRT Station (NS22) is located on the North South Line of the Mass Rapid Transit and is located along Orchard Road, Singapore. Some of its platform livery is maroon in colour, but most of that are black with marbles.

Passenger traffic at this station is extremely high, especially during weekend and festive periods. On the evening of 31 December 1999, trains had to skip this station so as to relieve the overcrowding in the station during the Millennium Celebrations.

On 15 January 2008, Exit C was closed to make way for the construction of the ION Orchard shopping mall. Exit E was opened on the same day as a replacement.[1]
