Athantar is a beautiful village situated beside the anla river. Villagers are peace loving despite the cut throat competition for name & fame. When I used to be a child, I have enjoyed the village atmosphere a lot with the innocent older generation. Of course now a days the situation is a bit different, but over all it is a standard village around other villages. All the communities have a mutual understanding.
