Headquarters of A.Besse & Co. (Aden) Ltd. on the Aidrus Road, Crater. Built by the French businessman Anthony Besse who founded in the city of Aden a trading empire that stretched from Europe to America and Ethiopia and become one of the most successful businessmen in Aden. Headquarters was built in 1914 and remained center of operations until the death of Anthony Besse in 1951. The building comprised of warehousing on the ground floor and flats on the first floor.
