Hamilton is the centre of New Zealand's fourth largest urban area, and Hamilton City is the country's seventh largest territorial authority. A Large city about an hour and a half away from Auckland.

Hamilton is growing annually, with populations of 197,300 for the urban area (June 2008 estimates).

  • Hamilton is a lovely town, busy enough to have what you want, chilled enough to relax in. Its the city of the future because there is so much space to expand here but not so much in auckland or wellington
