This dam is also known as Pilanwadi bandhara. Parinche, Yadavwadi, Hargude & many other villages got irrigated becaz of this dam. The land of Pangare villagers went under the back water of this dam. But due to some politics & non unity of Pangare villagers, no use of water to Pangare village.
