Lief Erikson Gate (Portland, Oregon)

I'm a little hazy on where this is, exactly, what with the tree cover, but Lief Ericson is a non-accessable
(most of the time) dirt road beyond the gate, which is usually closed, so only bike riders and runners can go on from here. Lief Ericson, beyond this point, provides access to most of the really long trails threading thru Forest Park. There are some fine short loops you can run that start at McClay park, and come out of the forest here, from whence you can get back to McClay park, via Thurman St., on a footpath underneath the Thurman bridge that crosses over the park.
