San Carlos is a city in San Mateo County, California, United States, on the San Francisco Peninsula, about halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. The population was 28,406 at the 2010 census.

The city of good living. A great place to go downtown for a treat of what ever you want.

The name refers to Charles Borromeo (a cardinal of Milan).
