Kharkiv Choreographic School provides professional ballet training for students who want to seek further ballet career, as well as for kids who just want to be introduced to the world of ballet. Kids are admitted from 6 years old. The students have opportunities to participate in international performances as well as to dance in Kharkiv theaters.

The school was founded in 1957 on the basis of a ballet studio at the Opera and Ballet Theater.
About 1,000 children aged 3 to 16 study in a spacious and specially equipped school building.
