This is the oldest Lutheran church east of Ontario. Started in 1978 by the Reverend Robert H. Bruer, an ordained Lutheran pastor who served mainly in England until 1978 when he was sent to open a "Mission" in Moncton, New Brunswick. Pastor Bruer originally started his adult life as a member of Canada's Famous Royal Canadian Mounted Police. An unfortunate accident with a horse, changed his career choice. With his wife, Berte, he "rebuilt" this building, the former "Grand Central Restaurant", remember that Moncton was a famous CN Railroad city, into the famous "round" church, known as Good Shepherd. Good Shepherd is a member church of Lutheran Church-Canada, a sister church of Missouri Synod, in the USA. Telephone (506) 384-9453, toll-free 888-757-7027. In the city call, locally, 384-9453. Services 11 am every Sunday.
