Protestant church (Xanten)

In 1648/49 the Protestant church was built in the Southern corner of the close. The tower, with its elegantly shaped dome and crowning lantern, was not added until 1662. The church was therefore not complete when it was consecrated in 1649. This historical treasure remains nameless to this day.
