Sidi Ali Bouatel is one of the oldest Marabout Burried in the region of Marrakech during the 12th century. His name is Sidi Ali Bouatel Idrissi Hassani. He was adopted by the saharien tribe Zirara from the people of chrarda who came to the suburbs of Marrakech (Haouz) his roots go back to the Idrissides dynasty who ruled morocco for 200 years. Moulay Ismail gave the sons of this marabout Dahirs of respect and consideration du to their status among the people of the region
