The dreams of a big city in one of Libya’s major towns is becoming more clear, the vision is the Libya of Tomorrow, and the goal to be achieved here is the Benghazi Tower commercial and multipurpose complex.

Hong Architekten is a German architectural and engineering firm that was commissioned to design and supervise the construction of a major project on the shores of Lake 23rd of July in down town Benghazi. The designs seem to be completed, and what we await is the arise of this architectural masterpiece in the skyline of the city.

According to www.hongarchitekten.com the project started back in 2007, and is planned to be completed on 2011 for the beniefit of ODAC (Organization for Development of Administrative Centers) . The complex is a shopping and multipurposes ground, with gardens, playgrounds, cafes, and restaurants. The building is at least a 45 store tower with a unique oval mirror shape. But again remains the question: Will it see the light?
