Rural Education Society(RES) founded by late Sri S Kariyappa during the pre-Independence period. This school campus consists of Dayananda Vasathi Vidyalaya, Rural Multi-purpose High School, Rural Girls High School and Rural College(This list is as I know some 25 years back. Now, many more schools might have added into this campus!). These educational institutions have the distinction of producing many eminent personalities who are serving at National/ International levels.
