  • Established in 1971 Vashi is definitely one of the oldest in the Navi Mumbai. Beautiful calm city that is exceptionally planned in the initial stages. Later it was taken over by commercials and expanded exponentially. Sector 1 to 7 are still the best areas here. I am staying here for last 30 years. And have no regrets so far.

  • vashi is the life of new bombay. lot of schools, colleges, temples, churches malls, big market, shopping areas etc. with one visit u can but all thing necessary for ur home. some of the residential areas are independent row houses with broad roads. vishnudas bavae auditorium is the place to conduct programmes, music concerts, dance arangettams, dramas, marraige reception etc. tamil sangam, kannada sangam have big halls, and for arts encouragement lot of associations. some new temples like ganapathi, guruvayuoor krishna are near the old havaeli and swamy narayana mandir.people of different culture have their own place of worship here.a big jain temple is very nice. shopping at vashi is very easy. people canbuy things from the platform sellers as well. now the platform shoppers have been given a seperate place for occupancy. vegetable mandi is worth visiting. if u are lucky u live at vashi

  • I visited varasidhi temple today. They had a Navagraha Homam. I have seen the temple from beginning and am impressed with the management. From a bronze idol few years back to the pleasing stone idol with powerful positive energy. My visit after aprox 2 years. I met Mr. Narayan few years back and even today cordinating all activities. Since as a visitor I feel good,hence commented. Mr. Narayan keep it up.
