Bagalkot city(submerged).

At the end of 20th century part of Bagalkot city has been submerged in the raised back water of Alamatti dam(upper krishna project).This merged area was dense in population. Names of merged areas from wast to east Venkatpet, Killa, Jainpet and Halepeth. Out of these areas Killa, Jainpet and Halepeth were downtown of Bagalkot city. Thousands of year historical physical locations of city were converted in memories.
