The largest high school (by number of people) in Douglas County School District. It used to be the only high school in the county until the large subdivisions of Parker and Highlands Ranch were built in the Northern part of Douglas County. The school currently has the largest feeder area in the county, stretching from Castle Rock to El Paso County. About 2,500 students attend DCHS.
