A reconstruction of a medieval castle on the site of the former castle of Satomi clan. Contains a vast collection devoted to the Nanso Satomi Hakkenden novel by Kyokutei Bakin (Edo period) - see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nans%C5%8D_Satomi_Hakkenden; the castle was also known as "Nekoya-jō" (根古屋城).

Next to it are a nice plum garden, an aviary with peacocks, and an art museum.
