Casa Regina is charming evidence of an ancient rural civilization celebrating the ancestral link between man and nature. After more than three Centuries, Domus Fatae has remained untouched by time; it still dominates the heart of Calonico, a pictoresque mountain village surrounded by green countryside, forests and waterfalls flowing down to valley.

Enterily built of local stone and forest wood, Casa Regina goes back to 1684, as a protective lodge for local rural families. Surrounded by little stony squares and alleys, Casa Regina is nowadays considered one of the fewest historically valuable architectural reports of the region.
