European-style roundabout, very uncommon in the Midwest. This the junction of Northwest Highway (U.S. Route 14), Golf Road (Illinois Route 58), Wolf Road, and the Union Pacific Northwest train line. Known as 'suicide circle' to locals.

  • oh yea, it is suicide circle, especially casue no one knows how to drive in a roundabout
  • I commuted thru it for two and a half years and never had a problem or saw an accident. If you can't negotiate a traffic circle / roundabout, you probably should not be driving. It moved a lot of traffic and any accidents had to be low speed so no serious injuries.
  • Just had an accident due to another driver's inability to read signage in the roundabout. Not much fun, but learned a valuable lesson in defensive driving... never rely on another car to follow street signs :)
