This Lake is excatly behind Lord Mooda Ganapati Temple chitrigi. The Lake is managed by Venkatrama Dev Temple Trust Kumta headed by Vasudev Prabhu. During Rainy seasons all the locals come to this place to enjoy/learn swimming. During Vanabhojana day Venkatramam Dev, Hanuma Dev, Santeri Kamakshi, Mahalasa Narayani and Kaveri Kamakshi goddess reside at the place.Usually this is the venue of "Snehakoota",the annual gathering of GSB.
