Khurja is a city and Nagar Palika Parishad in Khurja Block Khurja Tehsil in Bulandshahr District of Uttar Pradesh. It is also the headquarter of Khurja Tehsil.
It is situated on G.T.Road and Delhi-Howrah Railway line. It is a Railway Junction.
Khurja, in Uttar Pradesh is a busy center of ceramic activity. Tour to this small town is a delightful experience for every pottery lover. Nearly 400 factories are engaged in making hand painted ceramic artifacts such as napkin rings, tableware and many other articles. These pottery items retain their mud color and are in great demand.
Khurchan is famous and unique sweet of Khurja.
Khurja has one postgraduate college viz NREC Degree college and a Govt.Ploytechnic viz SGSJ Polytechnic. It also has a BAMS college.
Nav Durga Shakti Mandir at Khurja is very grand and famous temple of the area.
