Privately owned by SKAFF ESTATE, it is part of LOT 58 AMMIQ, these wetlands provide a rest area for several species of migrating birds on their way between Europe and Africa. They are also home to several species of plants, mammals and invertebrates. (area = 100ha = 250 acres)
