It is a beautiful pond which is large and deep enough to have water year around. Mainly used for watering the farm animals and swimming by the village lads. On the north side of the pond is a well yielding potable water. Most potable water wells in the area are next to ponds. Not too long ago, the village women used to fetch water from this well for household use.
