St. Mary's Church was founded as a Catholic mission church in the 1640's to serve the port town of Piscataway and to minister to the Piscataway Indians in the area. The campus contains the small 1904 church and a larger 1988 sanctuary, along with an elementary school, rectory, and parish office building.
