Knepp Castle (not to be confused with the Norman castle which stands to the southeast,) is a Gothic castelated mansion designed by John Nash for the Burrell family in 1812. The house is still in the family, and is the centre of a large estate covering most of the parish of Shipley. It is not open to the public.
