The Cardington airship hangers dominate the north Bedfordshire skyline. Built in the 1920s, they are still in use - one as a fire research centre and the other to develop airships.

  • I'm not the one who marked the hangers, but it's fair to point out that many people mark locations on Wikimapia when the arial photography of certain locations is of poor resolution and cannot be zoomed-in upon. Accuracy in those circumstances is not possible. When the low-res images are later updated/replaced accuracy is then far easier. Whether that is the case here or not I don't know. But the original contributor or other Wikimapians can subsequently edit the size of the designated area and help everyone in the process. This need not involve pointlessly and ignorantly insulting the original contributor. Doing so says more about the critic than the inaccuracy says about the original contributor. I know which of the two contributions before mine here is the more helpful.
