In the mid 70s, the owner of this home on the corner of this 6-way intersection, (If you count the parking lots across the intersection from Miller as an alley, as which they serve), got fed up with moronotorists landing their wrecked cars in his front yard, next to his small children, so before building his swimming pool, he very visibly and deliberately built this huge cinder block fence, with rebar and concrete filling both hollows of each cinder block all the way to the top.

There continued to be numerous accidents at this 6-way intersection, but curiously enough, wrecked cars no longer tried to land in his front yard, next to his small children. It's almost as if the moronotorists knew well enough to keep their distance.

The small children grew up, and the owner moved away, but that fence isn't going anywhere.
