This Venkatraman Temple was founded on around 1668 by Narayan Malya, (one of the five Malyar Math) He was in Good Post in the court of Keladi King. Then He handed over the temple to Senapur Acharya Family. This family handed the same to 22nd Pontiff Shri Dwarakanath Teertha Swamiji ( Gangolli was birth plase of Dwarakanath & Vidyadhiraj Teertha Swamiji) on 16/03/1945. There afterit is Branch of Shri Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math.(Ph: 08254 237123)
