  • I was raised in Hanau from 1972 to 1995. I spent most of my nights and weekends at Hanau Rod and Gun Club. It was one of the best clubs in Hanau. I cry to think it is now long gone and forgotten. I go home every year or two to visit my family and drove around but it has changed so much it is hard to tell even where it was. Of course the Dunlop factory is still there. Ha! I used to walk home at night when I lived in Steinheim. It wasn't far and was pretty safe back in the day. Oh those wonderful memories. Still looking for my friends but have found some of them.
  • I was a controller on Fliegerhorst from 90-93. We spend many a Friday and Saturday night at the Gun where country music and cowboy hats ruled.
  • I played here for three years. It was some of the best times of my life. It felt like home back then.
  • Hate to hear Rod and Gun Club is gone. I was at Pioneer Kaserne but worked at Grossauhiem Kaserne from 1972-1974.
  • Hi, I was the DJ Rockin Robin i used to do Country nights every Sun from about 1991 -1993 or 94. Sometimes did a Fri or Sat night also
